What RWDSS Focuses on in supporting people
Rural Women for Development South Sudan (RWDSS) is a National Women-Led Organization for Empowerment of Women in South Sudan registered under the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) Registration No. 371.
The organization strive on empowerment of women and children, and is embedded in the community, understands the local context in which it operates, and focuses on women and children by addressing their needs to improve their lives.
RWDSS has active presence in Central Equatoria (Yei County, Lainya and Juba Counties, Western Equatoria (Tombura, Mundri West, Mundri East, Mvolo and Yambio, Eastern Equatoria State, (Torit, Kapoita north and Magwi) and Lakes state Awerial County.

RWDSS works to enhance food security and develop sustainable livelihoods by providing training and resources to women, enabling them to engage in agriculture, livestock rearing, and other income-generating activities.
Women Empowerment
RWDSS is dedicated to empowering women by promoting gender equality, providing vocational training, and supporting women's participation in leadership and decision-making processes.
WASH
RWDSS improves access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in communities, educating women and children on best practices to ensure a healthier and safer environment.

RWDSS focuses on improving health outcomes by providing access to essential healthcare services, maternal and child health programs, and health education initiatives that benefit women and children.
Education
RWDSS promotes education by supporting the enrollment and retention of girls in schools, providing educational materials, and creating awareness about the importance of education for women's and children's future development.
